Any recommendations for someone do to custom paint work on an MPC?

I like stuff like ghostinmpc and 16 squarez, but I don't need the whole thing customized just the casing.

Thanks

I can't help but wonder if most of those aren't dipped instead of painted.

or powder coated - i would think that first.

either way - i dont think anybody is doing better custom work than ghostinmpc. you will likely pay for it though, he is really good and it is a luxury to be able to do that.

i've tried the skins on my 1k and its actually pretty good, but i prefer the metal being painted / coated / dipped.

Yeah I've chatted with ghostinmpc briefly. I'm obviously very impressed by his work, but I think there's shipping to Japan as well.

Dipped, painted, powder coated. Whatever looks the best. I'm just looking for more 'local' folks (I'm in the USA) and something a little simpler than what ghostinmpc usually does.

You could try them: https://www.styleflip.com/akai-mpc-2000 ... ker-covers - They can make the skin what ever color you want. That can be removed when you want to change it or go back.

While I love custom paint jobs. Keep in mind that if you want to resale your machine in the future. Custom paint jobs and non factory mods will lower the price.
