Broken button

Hey ,
I have an Akai Mpc 2000 , and I have a broken button ( F1 button ) , It stills work but the button is pushed down . As I said it still work , but I need to press hard on it and I dont want to break it . Do you have any idea what I shoud do ? I tried pushing it up , but it wasn't successfull.

You could probably just pull off the faceplate and realign it.It could be that the faceplate is kind of pushin' down on it some.

yah ,should I unplugg my mpc when i open the faceplate ?
