occasionally i receive this error message when i insert a disk into my mpc... Error at 0000: BE5A... it comes up, i press main screen and it sends me to a screen filled with numbers and letters, some coding i think. I have to shut it off and try again each time. anyone experience this issue?

I think mpc2000's have a tendency crash when you are skipping through the save options.
If you dont use a scsi device, always keep it on the floppy field or it will hang searcing for onothther drive.
You also have to waite a couple of seconds for it to ..work it out.
As mentioned above if nothing else work try taking out the ram, and cleaning it with a pencil erasure on the contacts.

@op

Those numbers are an untrapped error. 2kxl is not supported anymore and won’t be updated
so your best bet is to try what the MPC Vets above suggested.
