Assigning seperate midi channels to different DRUM/Programs.

Quick question:
I'm using Ableton Live to play back midi info on my MPC 2000xl.
How do I assign different midi channels to play different DRUM/Programs?

you hit open window on i believe the midi channel setting? its called multitimbral mode, and you set it up where different tracks respond to different midi channels.

i might be a little off on exactly how you do it, but it should also be in the manual if you search for multi-timbral.

OK! I found it. It's in "multi record mode".
