circuitry wise the MPC2XL is very close, almost identical*, to the MPC3000 but the high-freq on the MPC2XL is hyped, almost as if its ring-modding. I suspect the 'resonance' is always on even when the setting is zero.
The lows, are close to the MPC3000 but that unit as one additional IC* the oversampling chip which produces 'smoother' lows.
So the 'resonant' , brittle high-freq could be resolved by someone dissembling the code.
If only we the MPC2XL had a JJOS
