Using SONAR with your MPC

I have 2 problems that I need help with. When I save my midi on a floppy and place it into Sonar via floppy. It will play the midi but will not play the 16 levels on the mpc. My other problem is I use Sonar as my master and the MPC as the slave and there not locking up, And I dont now if its Sonar or the mpc thats giving me this problem. If someone can give me some info or knows the answers to my problems plz help me out.

Have you tried making your MPC master and loading the mids into the MPC and then feeding it into Sonar?

try using mtc for sync if you are using midi clock that helped me alot.
mtc at 30fps and mmc on in the mpc and set sonar to send mtc 30fps and mmc.

also, unfortunately 16levels for pitching a sample doesnt get included in the midi file and wont get sent back to the mpc correctly via midi. it will trigger the sample, but only at it's original pitch.
