wassup people... i think i blew my scsi fuse on my mpc because its no longer reading my cd drive and zip... its says no scsi device but everytime i turn it on it starts up the cd drive but it cant read it... has anybody had this happen to them b4?? how did you fix it and how expensive is it?? thanks for any info... i guess ill be forced to make midi beats now since i cant save my samples thanks again for any info

i thought the click of death was when ur scsi break down... i might be wrong but my mp still aint readin my cd drive or zip..

nevermind, it was the cable that was messed up.. good thing cause they were chargin me 200 to fix it if it was the scsi fuse.. thanks for all the replies...

There has been a history with them. You can find it if you look. I guess the price you can charge is directly proportional to your popularity.

I've charged as little as $35 for the same repair. 1 hour labor, Part was free.

word... yeah rogue is on some scam ish... they buy and sell used equipment too and its crazy the prices they try to give u, like 500 for an xl and then they put it on sale for 925 or sumttin... if you in the area and my mpc brakes down then i'll be hittin you up for some repairs lol

That is to be expected. Effectively a pawn shop. If you are in the business of used resale, you would rarely pay more than 1/2 of what you could get for it.
