Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I hate to potentially rehash an old subject, but I've been reading through so many threads I'm going crosseyed. I haven' found one thread yet where a SD card reader seems to work seamlessly, so for the price I figure I should weigh my options. I cant stand the idea of a genuine SCSI hard drive whirring away while I try to record, as fond as I was of my old RAID setups, I think it would drive me nuts. Zip disk is unreliable crap, floppy disks are....just floppies.
Does anyone have a recommendation for best storage option verified to work on the 2k Classic?

There are many places to get just the SCSI2SD card reader for internal use but Chicken Systems sells it and the case for external SCSI use...

Thats 150$ i think. The one mentioned was 60£ so maybe obtained locall in UK or europe.Still that definately a cool unit.Unfortunatly we have to pay postage and import fee's as well.Might have to go that route anyhow as ive got Ensoniq asrx and MPC2000 now and you can serve both at the same time with the optional lead.
