disk read error ???

hey so a couple weeks ago my 2000xl decided to start saying 'disk read error' every time i put in ANY floppy disk and try to load up a sample. what the actual f is going on? anyone?

You can open the XL and check the internal floppy drive's ribbon cable and power connectors. If they are properly connected and the drive still doesn't work, you can...
A) replace the floppy drive with another floppy which I wouldn't recommend
or
B) back up all your floppies to your computer and get a SCSI2SD card reader. :smoker:
