Sync MPC2KXL with Reason 10

Hi there I'm having trouble syncing my MPC with Reason 10.

I am not trying to use the MPC strictly as a MIDI controller and Reason as a sound module.
That seems to work fine.

What I want to do is retain the onboard beat making capacities of the MPC, and then use Reason to accompany the beats. The trouble is Reason and the MPC don't agree on what 94 bpm means, so I am trying to sync them.

I have the MIDI cables plugged in right, I have Reason configured to receive MIDI clock from the correct device and I have the MPC set to sync in and out.

When I hit play on the MPC it says it's waiting for the play command from MIDI. When I hit play in Reason, the MPC doesn't notice.

What am I missing?

If u want reason as the master, go to sync settings in preferences and select the device you are using to send midi clock to the mpc. Then go to the options drop down menu>sync>send midi clock.
