VERY easy to install.
I just did it a few weeks ago.
Guitar center has it and if you qoute them the price at ZZounds ( or zzsounds) , you'll get it for $219.
That's less than gutar center usually gets..
The 8 outs come with easy instructions also..
Just follow them and make sure you touch both hands to metal , etc...
I guess about the same procedure as when you install memory...
It worked for me and I'm very happy I got them.
I made a beat that night and heard quite a difference..
Being able to tweak each sound individually is great.

Well , if you have a credit card , just order it from the link I gave
you and you'll get it pretty quick.
Not sure about a site that shows you how to install the 8 outs but
like I said , it comes with instructions and it's VERY easy...
There's a bit about it on page 191 of the 2000xl manual.
There's only five steps in the official install sheet..

1. remove top panel ( mpc) and front panel and remove upper operation board.
2. Remove the rear panel side's screen board.
3.Install the supports and then secure the 8 outs board as shown
in the diagram ( which u aint got :D ) using the installation screws.
4.Connect the 35 pin cable from the 8 outs to P7 on the CPU board.
( Front panel side is red)
5.Install the operation board and then attach the front panel and upper panel.

There!
That's all the instructions that came with my 8 outs.
Anyway , it's VERY easy and as soon as you get the ,mpc open ,
you'll be able to see where it should go , how it goes there and where
the cable comes from and goes.
Just dont forget to use the supplied supports ,
touch hands to metal etc just like when you install memory and
you'll be ok..
Just take your time and dont have any liquids around to spill in your mpc.

Um , also . if you dont wanna order it from that site or anywhere online , you might wanna tell us where you are so maybe we could help you better.
Anyway , maybe it was just that particular guitar center you dealt with that doesnt have any..I mean , I just got mine no more than three weeks ago.
