peoples
can anyone please help me on this problem which is now f*ckin my head up.
i track my mpc's individual tracks (e.g. kicks, sd, hats, phrases etc) out of my mpc and into protools le (m-box). i have been doing this for 3 years now and one of the things both me and my engineer were impressed with was the clean, hiss-free mpc outputs.
however, just recently i have noticed a constant hiss on my stereo outs when i record enable a track in protools. it is not very loud, but it is there when it never used to be.
it is not my soundcard, cables etc as when i connect any one of the mulitple 8 outs, using same cables, soundcard, setup the hiss is not there.
so the problem must be with my D/A stereo outputs. i am proper upset about this cuz i truly love my little mpc.
does anyone know what could have caused this?
has anyone else had this problem?
does anyone know what can be done to fix this or where i can go to get it fixed?
any help is much appreciated.
