MFC42 VS EB 16...which one is better? PLEASE HELP ME

I got the mfc42 for my mpc2000xl, it works really well but should i got a eb16 instead?
which is better, and what for what reasons.....exclude the fact that one is more expensive then the other.
am i stupid for buying the mfc42? anyway thanks

It's not a case of one or the other, as they both do different jobs. The EB16 is a multi-effects unit, the MFC is a filtering unit featuring a variety of realtime filters to let you do sweeps and other tricks. If you dont know what it does, you probably dont need it!

Is there an alternative to the MFC42, maybe buy another manufacture that offer more features or pretty close to the same features to the MFC42?

filter queen and filter factory by electrix are pretty similar. they are discontinued now though, but all over ebay sooo you could score one used cheap.
