Weird digital artifact on my MPC2kxl any ideas?

Listen to it here with a quick loop I made https://soundcloud.com/drunk-pedestrian ... ct/s-UybjS and when I stop the MPC that digital noise continues for a while. The MPC doesn't do it right away but after probably ten minutes use it shows up. Totally sucks!

Any idea what it could be? How can I fix it? Thanks!

Sounds like it could be bad ram.If its expanded Take the ram out and see if it still does it.Could try cleaning the contacts of the ram and socket too.
