It's not hard and no you don't need pictures. I did it, you can do it too.

Not clever at all, lol. It's just one of those things that isn't hard, all you have to do is just jump in and do it. It's not a technical install at all.

You've probably built lego houses that are more complicated than installing a EB16 board.

Takes about 10 minutes and done.

Longest part is taking apart and putting back together your mpc.

For what it's worth, installing the EB16 was really straight forward, no problems at all, apart from I had to use one of my screws from the base plate of my se3 to attach it securely to the mother board.

P. 191 of the manual is enough to explain what to do.

it is just plugging in a connector... not really a big deal. On the XL you can get right inside by taking off the bottom panel... the 2000 classic you have to take out a bunch of stuff from the top down to get to it.
