Second Sequence muting on specific sequences

I've made a beat on my xl and arranged it in song mode. I've created a 2 bar loop using 'second sequence' which plays continuously in the background. I'd like to mute this second sequence on my 1st, 2nd and final sequence but I don't believe it is possible. Nor is it possible to do so in song mode.

I was wondering if there is a workaround or whether I'm going to have to add this 2 bar loop to each of my sequences in order to get this to work?
