Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i just got a good ass deal on a 6 month old mpc 2000xl with 8 outs, max memory, internal zip drive, all for 850 and it looks new. any advice or tips for me?...im so happy right now i have been wanting an mpc for a long time....lol

Congrats and welcome to the fam.Only advice is read the manual and look at as many post on here as you can.Especially under "Newbie Bible" and "Production Technigues."Enjoy..... :wink:

Workout what exactly you have at your finger tips

Read these forums.....Read the book/manual..Purchase the MPC Tutor Ebook........Id say everything you wanna know has already been answered in some shape or form......

Its also a good idea to try things b4 you ask for the result....

That should keep you tied over for a bit.

im getting most of the basics down pretty quick now tomorrow im going to hook it up to something like my stereo or computer so i can sample sounds in there...what input would give me the best results?the digital in and outs or whats another input i can connect it to?
