Everyday that I'm not using the mpc I'm thinking of something it can or can not do. Well with some of my tracks I been tring to get a better grove and in the past I would seq a snare, kick and hi hat all on lets say TRACK ONE. After ill open up the timing window and change swing settings for each sound. It just pop in my head that maybe the mpc can't handle multi swing settings for one track and it might be better to just put every sound on its own track and change the swing for each track. The reason I came up with this is cause I sometimes get a little crazy with the swing settings. Sometimes I will want my snares to be lay down on a 1\32 grid while my kicks to fall on a 1\16(3) and my hi hats to be on a 1\16 swing 62 percent. How can I be sure that the mpc is really doing all of that on one track. I might of already answer my question by just playing it safe by putting each sound on its own track even it means just copying the track 3 times and erasen the unwanted sounds from each track. This way ill know each sound is really be quantize to what I want it to be. I just wanted to know what yall think.
