Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By Peter2019 Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:57 pm
Hi Guys, I have a problem with my XL, my Left and Right Sound Output are Broken and i get no Sound more of this Channels, but the Headphones Out are still works.
So i screw the device up and I noticed that One of the Two Resistors near the Sound Output Board is charred (I marked the problem resistor in the example picture) So with a Multimeter, i've checked both resistores the whole and apparently the broken one and get some different ohm Values like 12.88 and 12.30 from the broken one (both Messent @20k Ω)
I'm not an Electronic and have no idea if that is really the problem, but can someone please tell me what
exactly is this for a Resistor and where I can best order it in Europe?

I am very grateful for any help
And Kudos to the Mpc Community :worthy:

can you read the resistor number on the circuit board for your Left out (J800)? It'll start with an R81.

Hi Juke, Thx for your Help, it must be the one with the Number R811.
But i take a new Picture from my caring child Today and it looked that the R911 Resistor are Broken too?
Here is the Picture:

On the 2000XL schematic it shows R811 & R911 as 47Ohms 1/4W. the bands on the resistor are yellow, Violet, Black and since it has that silver 4th band that equals 10% tolerance.
It should be easy to find that resistor on Mouser.com or Amazon.
