Sup y'all
I just bought an MPC2000 and was able to sample perfectly when I got it home. However, after that first sample the MPC is only outputting a harsh static sound when in sample mode. I've tried any advice I could find with similar issues (messing with master db and gain settings, switching up cables, switching up input instruments etc) and could hear the inputted sounds slightly under the harsh static but barely. In addition, when in sample mode the Time reads "---.-s" which I am unable to change. I've also opened up the MPC to clean it but really don't know what I'm looking at in there. Any advice on what might be going on?
