So I gotta download this to transfer the sounds on the CD-rom that came with my 2000xl to floppy? I just got my MPC yesterday so I'm gonna have alot of questions. Later.

I have the same solution to find.
I have a 2kxl with a floopy, and a Jaz drive.
i am trying to get the cd-rom kits onto the Jaz or the floopy(internal)
Any Ideas out there.
And does anyone know a good place to get the correct cdrw or cd-rom drive for the 2kxl?

u can use awave, to read the akai sample cd's. turn the sounds to wav/snd format load em onto to the disk or jazz cart. then youll be kickin it!!!!

does the simplexfer also work with the 2kxl w/zip drive or just the standard drive?
