if it is set to loop it wont. #of bars is more for loop recording like working on just 2 or 4 bars at a time

envlope filter screen...open window on filter setting on params screen for a sound.

wow....I never noticed that screen before....it seems like you can hit 'open window' on almost anything to get something cool, has anybody ever made a list of all of these things?
I hate the mpc manual with a passion, we should compile a 'players guide' of sorts, something that has all the things you forget from day to day (i always forget things like timestretching properties, etc)
