Trouble installing 1.20 on MPC2kxl via zip disk

I just got an MPC2KXL from a friend, and MPCs are completely new to me. It came with an internal zip drive, and I ordered an MCDKIT multi-card reader to install. It came with a zip disk with v1.205, which I understand is needed for the MCDkit to function.
When I insert the disk and turn it on, it just boots up as normal. Checking the version confirms that the MPC is still running 1.14. When I hit SHIFT+3 to load the disk, it says "No floppy device !!".
Is there something I'm missing? Trying to figure out if its a problem with the disk, the drive, the user, or something else.

Make sure the OS file on the Zip it's not a .zip file. The OS should be a MPC2KXL.bin file.
Try downloading the v1.2 OS from the AKAI website or from here... https://www.dropbox.com/s/r8wz24t5mkw8vwn/mpc2000xl_os_120.zip?dl=1
It'll be a .zip file. Extract it for the MPC2KXL.bin file.
