altering copied sequences...

this is probably a really simple question but once u have copied a 2 bar sequence to an unused field, how do u then take sounds out of the copied sequence to change it, without it affecting the original? i basically want to take the drums away on the last bar and just have a sample playing...

any help appreciated!

If your sample and drums are on the same track you can hit overdub, hold erase and the pad with the sounds on it during the last bar or shift/erase to select the sounds you want to delete and the bar you want to delete them on. If they're on seperate tracks you can do the same but you have to select the track the drums are on
