question on saving!!

I saved a sequence, but then when I tried to load it up, it won't play.... How do I record a sequence onto floppy? When I saved it, I saved it under ALL SEQUENCES AND SONGS.....someone please hit me back with some info..

You did remember to save the sounds as well? You have to save the 'all programs and sounds' as well.

I had the same problem. I think along with saving the sequence, you have to also save all the sounds (or the program, if you created one, with all the sounds that are used in the sequence) onto the floppy disk. The sequence is actually a zero kilobyte midi file (it says zero K when you try to load it), it's empty, I think. So you have to save the sounds with the sequence on to the floppy disk and then later load both onto the MPC to hear the sequence.

The sequence wont be 0k, but if it's not got much info on it it will be pretty small, so the Akai will call it 0k. All the note data is stored on this file.
