I'm trying to purchase a replacement slider for my mp. The one place I contacted, VST (by recommendation), has them for 9 bones, but then what's to charge me 10 bones for shipping.

Anyone know of another option?

shit man thats not that bad because almost all places are going to charge you for shipping unless you find a local dealer where you can go pick it up.

I have no problem with being charged for shipping, but that's a lot. I've worked for retail shops where we shipped out items and we can send up to like 5 pounds for less than 10 bucks.

In other words, they're trying to rip me off (which I don't like).

have you tried any "tuner control" or "contact" spray. that ususally fixes my mixer faders. i don't know that nature of your problem but that might be a start.
