I just bought an mpc 2000xl and it came with the floppy drive. I want to replace the floppy drive with the zip drive. I took out an Iomega z100atapi zip drive from an old computer to use in the mpc. I read the instructions in the zip drive installation tutor and I would like to know the following:
Why do I need to mess with the power cable if the mpc is a computer and the power cable is probably the same (I have nt yet opened the mpc but it sound the same tyo me).
It there maybe a certain reason for this?
