error message on screen

I get this error message on the screen as soon as I power on the unit. I purchased an EPROM with version 1.20 and it still did not work. Any idea anyone? Thank you in advance

I think the EPROM is NOT properly flashed. (The timing to the screen is wrong. I get the same kind of screens when connecting my logic analyser, somehow that disturbs the timing too)
Is there a possibility they provide you a new EPROM?
Eventually; Does the MPC start up, or you stuck with this screen?

The EPROM has nothing to do with what you're talking about and am genuinely confused at how you arrived as such a conclusion.

When recovering a corrupted flash with the recovery ROM, he'd already have been booting off of the on board flash at that point. So your guesswork about "timing" and the ROM chip are completely unrelated as the XL would not have any further i/o calls to the ROM chip whatsoever.
