MPC 2000 ZIP DRIVE QUESTION

Can the regular 2000 handle 250 Scsi Zip Drives???

my quantuum fireball scsi hd just died on me and it's time to switch to something besides floppies... thanks!

250 zip drives, that's alot of SCSI drives hooked up to 1 machine.

my question is


can the regular 2000 run the 250 mb zip disk drives? or can is it only compatible with the 100 mb drives?? or does it not matter at all??

my 4gig scsi hard drive just died and i lost everything from the last 5 months!!!! and floppies are wayyyy to slow....

You lost everything for the last five months and you're still alive? I'd have killed myself...

As for losing stuff, you did it once so you can always do it again and most of the time it will be better cause you will have found newer sounds and possibly do things better when creating and compiling the beat.

Look at the good side. Another bad side is that you never learned the importance of backing up your work to several different media types. Now you know. I back up ALL my stuff to HD (PC and SCSI) and CDRW. Anything I lose can always be found again in less than 5 minutes. I keep an archive of sounds on CD in my closet (next to SWISSMASTER CHEESE cause I know he hides out in peoples closets going after their MPC's) also.

yeah it was very difficult ... loosing alot of keepers... and yes it's my own fault for being lazy and not putting my data onto something else!!! i want to get a zip drive for the mpc and one for the computer and INSTANTLY transfer onto cdrs.....
