put a microphone to the earpiece, or play your voicemail from a speakerphone and mic it as well.

So the only way I can do this is to have a microphone.

Thanks for the advise.

If you don't have a microphone you can use ordinary headphones as a kind of lo-fi microphone for this. Plug them into a mic input, which will probably be mono so you need to check which of the earpieces is active. Hold that one over the earpiece of your phone & you should get a fairly decent recording.

That works? That's crazy... I didn't know you could do that.

I think Radio Hack might sell a little suction cup type phone mic thing, I have one that I got from a friend.
You put the Suction cup on the back of the phone near the earpiece, it's what they use to record Prank calls like Crankyankers or the Jerky boys type $h!t.
I don't know how much they run or what you would call it, google it and see.

all you need is the cord that goes from the earphone jack in ya phone (not sure what size it is) to an 1/8" or 1/4" phono jack. They sell 'em at Radio Shack. Works great too
