MPC SCSI READ ERROR PLEASE HELP

I have a disc with tons of shit on it and it won't read it the light just keeps running. Is there any way to recover the files on this disc? Please help

Have you got other disks & do they work ok?

What message are you getting on your screen?

With both the MPC & zip switched off check the SCSI cable is securely connected at both ends.

If you know someone else with an MPC & zip drive see if their machine can read your disk.

It could be a problem with the zip drive & your disk is actually fine. If the disk is the problem there are guys on this forum who can try & retrieve the data for you.

The light just keeps running, sounds like the ribbon cable might be reversed if it's internal atapi.

You didn't even hint at the setup you are using so that the right person can give you some helpful advice.
