To "MPC3000"

I have a question about this connection u have with this SCSI-to-USB adapter from Adaptec. Cause I've bought one also and I have a problem. In first few secs everything was working properly but after a short while. When I wanted to load something to mpc, he said DISC READ ERROR when i move through the zip file afterwards he don't see the files only MPC3$%^# (something like this), wheres the pc see all the files. Is there some rule about transferring files through that Adapter (like in mpc1k you have to connect/disconnect the cable)??? Or maybe i have something wrongly configured.

You have files that have longer names than 8 characters don't you?
