ableton live 4?

wow have you guys tried this shit yet? Its really easy to use and loading samples and stuff is as easy as one click.

yeah its tight. i was using it for a while but now i dont really mess with it. its got alot of decent effects and features. And u can use vst instuments in it too which is tight.

I'm still using the free demo of Live 3 just for it's amazing timestretching.

i use it as a scrtach pad for beats. save all my shit to zip and re-arrange on the mpc.

One of the limits of the MPC (all of them) is real time time-stretching. Live has this down like no other. For the most part, I sequence all my beats, but for some of the audio loops I do use, this program IS the answer for my setup. I got a laptop for something else, but am now moving a few of my tracks over for easier live ability.

Audio Loops play back fine on the MPC at a set tempo pre-programmed, but when you are syncing up to a band/dj/whatever, it wont cut it. The two work great together. Don't worry, I still have my baby (XL) as the master sequencer

same here bro. its good not to have to spend ages getting that ish to fit on the mpc when you can just drag set your start and ends and go. the groove markers are pretty cool for changing the feel or the loop also.
try using re-pitch mode and putting in random markers/slices.
