Simple question - Please help....

On the MPC2000XL there's an option that allows me to save default names for device names (like which keyboard & sampler is connected to what port) among other things.

Last night a spent a few minutes inputing names for all 32 channels only to find that the names where not saved with the sequence or in internal memory. Surely I've done something wrong or else what's the point of inputing default names in the first place? The manual doesn't help either.

Any suggestions?

You are talking about changing the name of your DEVICES right if so it should save, for this is how now what sound to change on my proteus to match back up. It should save with the all sequnces file.
