Mpc 2000xl settings qestion

Hey what's up I am new to the mpc forrums and I got a qestion, so explain it has best I can, I got sounds in my mpc and I know it's like a setting or something I've done it on the 2500 and 5000. So with the sounds in the machine I have to hold down on the pads the whole time of the sample. I'm trying to change this so I just hit the pad and it plays the sample with out holding it down.thanks for any help.

Thank you! Although this has been MOST asked question for MPC-2000 (and for other older MPCs), I could not find any video clip that answers right away (it is not hard to show there the parameter is).
