Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Im having a problem when I connect my sound module to my mpc2000. When I record in midi, the sound from the module stops when the loop comes back to 1. does anyone knows why this happens? and if so how do I set the sync so it doesnt do that?...please someone respond..

your note off is overlapping the note on in the loop, cutting it short.

One possible problem.

What is the module? It might be a setting on there that needs looking into, such as the particular sound that gets cut off is monphonic.

On the MPC, look at the length of the last notes in the pattern in STEP EDIT mode. Extend them a bit with the scroll wheel so they are sustained into the start of the next looping of the sequence.

Also, does this happen with every MPC sequence? If it is only one that is doing it it might be one of those little midi bugs that sometimes appear. Mute & solo individual tracks & you should isolate which particular one might be giving you trouble.
