Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By prodikalson Mon Nov 22, 2004 5:17 am
some of my pads are not working on my mpc2000xl, so i took it apart, and i see the board is cracked, and i can see where someone tried to sotter new lines on the board, but i guess it didn't work, no wonder why i got it for 200 dollars, i want to replace the board, i am a computer tech, and i also work as an electrical technician from time to time, is there any where i can get replacement parts, with out sending the mp out ? i no i can change it myself if i had the parts, and i was also looking for a screen since mine has a line in it from time to time.....any help would be appreciated, i tried call tech support and never received an answer, i also tried to email support but to no avail, any suggestions

There is a place here that is an authorized AKAI service center called Spectrum Sound. There used to be a link to all of the service centers throughout the US authorized to service the AKAI gear. Just do a search on Google.
