Mpc 2000 storage qestion

I have a question, I think that the awnser is yes it will work but I'd like to ask you guy's just to be sure. I own a hard drive I think it's 4tb or 6tb it's hooked up to my computer via USB. I was looking on the back of the hard drive and saw it has a esata port, then I was looking online at cables and saw a sata to esata cable. Can I also hook this up to my mpc 2000xl to the hard drive using this cord? I wonder myself if I could have that much storage. the 2000xl came out 20 years ago. it doesn't have sata or esata. it has scsi and ide.

you mention 2000 and you mention 2000xl. if you meant 2000: the 2000 came out almost 25 years ago. it doesn't have sata or esata. it has scsi.

well what is wrong with installing a CF card reader in your 2000xl?
