Mpc 2000 SCSI HDD Compatibility

Hello everyone,

Im new to the forum. Pardon me If this quesiton has been asked before. I know that the "XL" is operable with external scsi hard drive but what about the Non "XL" which is what I have. Is there any difference in the Hard drive compatibility?

i havce the NON XL, XS, OG whatever you want to call it. mine works fine with my scsi harddrive. it is only like 2 gigs but i bought it off of ebay for 5bucks sooo. all i had to do was set the id, plug it in and format it using the mpc. works perfect.
