I've had my MPC2000XL for a few years now, but used it mostly for drum programming and the occasional basic track production... anyways, I recently decided to connect it to my PC through my soundcards S/PDIF jacks.
I plugged it all together with quality cables and all, and when I am monitoring on my MPC it registers the appropriate input from my computer. But then, when I try to sample that input, the meters stop showing any sound input at all, and when I stop recording it gives me the message 'No digital carrier signal'...
What the hell is going on? I want to get this working so I can dump crystal clear audio from my MPC onto my PC and vice versa.
