editing

I just received the mpc 2xl and am enjoying having a little dabble. My question is, once Ive created a 2 bar sequence on the pads, how do I
edit the drums so they are all synced up in time. Id imagine theyd be some screen with blocks representing drums which could be moved about - or was that just a very strange dream??!

well that would be really kick ass, but no it doesnt have a grid per say.
you can set the timing value to anything from 1/8 to 1/32triplets and then hit step and go through the step edit sequencer 1 step at a time to input stuff. you can also hit open window on the timing value and have it quantize the stuff you recorded to fall on the nearest 16th note or whatever you want it to be.
