Loading os 1.72 into 2000- HELP

I checked old posts but didn't see information specific to 2000. My disk is formatted fo the FAT file system. I downloaded os from the akai website, then it is unzipped. The file is broken into system,pdf,and exe file. Earlier I saved the system file to my floppy, pop it in the mpc, and it still doesn't work. Help

When I called tech support they said I need to download from a windows 98 computer. Did that, still doesn't work. Help

man when you unzip the os file unzip the WHOLE thing to your floppy or whatever disk you use to load the os from.

the WHOLE file. WHATEVER came in the zip file leave on the disk. dont just take one file and throw that up on the disk. im sure thats the problem.

unzip the whole thing and try again. if that dosnt work then......well nevermind...that should work.

You beat me to it. Yeah like Smoove said, unzip everything and leave it on the floppy. Don't delete anything, just unzip to floppy (no folders) and use it like that.
