Step Edit question

In step editing how do you pan each note? I hit open window on the "D" and the "V" but a pan option does not come up?

maybe if you input a new value. i know you can record mixer automation if that will work for what you want to do.

Firstly, are the notes you are attempting to pan sounds from the mpc or an external sound source? If external you simply insert a control change in step edit, number 10(pan) and set the value of the pan. It will range from 0 to 127 (0 being hard left, 64 center and 127 hard right).

Don't know much about the internal sonud panning but I imagine that it should work the same way after all, the control change is a general midi message.
