I bought an MPC 2000 classic a year a go.
The entire time it has been unstable and unreliable when it comes to saving files.
The following is occurring
- Write error, read error and disk error
- When saving all sounds and program, quite often not all .snd files are saved
- Often difficult to save .snd/.wav files in general
- Does not want to write .aps files at all
- Previously written files just vanishing
It came with the original floppy drive but I have later replaced it with the Gotek usb drive. Before I changed to the Gotek it was eating floppy disks and making them unreadable, so I thought maybe the floppy drive was the problem.
Still ruining image files on the Gotek to a certain extent, but not as bad as with the floppy. Still all the other problems metioned over are exactly the same.
Any ideas?
