My question is this
Lets say you make a kit and save it as a APS file
then you go back to that song that you are
using that APS saved kit with
and you add samples and tweak track velocitys
and you want to save over the last save
of the APS kit
and you get that window
that asks
save with sounds
replace same sounds : YES/NO?
which do you choose?
Can some one answer this soon
i got the mpc open now
and want to save this revised version of this kit
that i added a new sample to
thanks

if you changed/edited the original set of sounds in any way you probably would want to mark YES to replace same sounds. if you're just adding sounds to the kit then you can mark NO.

I have the XL and always save the MIDs + PGMs & sounds related to the tracks ive made in a new tracknamed-directory. okay a bit space consuming but no worries then... in other case if im editing the same tracks, yes i agree with 'lowbudget´s repl.

Lowbudget got the right idea, flow with that and you'll be fine.
