program and sequences

can anyone tell me if it is possible to 'attach' a program to a sequence. >>I want to be able to call up a sequence and have the program with the sounds for that seqence switch without having to stop and manually change the drum program??

yes enter a program change in step edit. make sure your program is set to responde to program changes.

Will the program change be saved with the sequence? I am hoping to be able to load a series of programs and sequences to play a continuous set using a series of pattens. I need to be able to load, say 10 sequences and switch them manualy. >>will I have to assign program numbers at the start of each set???

I'm not in front of my MPC right now, so i can't check. But i'm pretty sure prm. changes save with the sequence.
So if you load up your 10 sequences, they should change programs as soon as you hit the next sequence.
I doubt you'll be able to load 10 full programs though, as you can only load about 250 samples at a time.
