Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Alright I sold my mpc and left the zip disk inside the drive but when the person I sold it to received it, the zip disk wont come out. Is there a way to take force out the disk?????

screwdriver maybe but that dont sound 2 safe. might make it worse

not sure what to tell you man. but if he decides to force it out it might break some shii

i found this in another post.......take it for what you will


"Open up your mpc (don't be scared). Unplug the ribbon cable, unplug the pwr cable, unscrew the thing, replace with the newly purchased floppy drive (they are cheap), screw back in place (same screws in the same places), plug up the same ribbon cable and pwr. red line on ribbon cable faces toward the pwr plug. makes sure everything is tight and right, close it up and make beats."

you'll probly want to unplug the power cable before you open it up :shock:
