Is the Mpcxl good with the computer?

i dont know which one 2 get the 1000 or XL, people say that the 1000 is very comp friendly, but eveyone says the XL is better, i have a turntable and acid, i know if i get a XL i'll need to get a zip drive, would the xl go good with the computer? if not what is the basic setup for the XL?

i use a 2000xl .. it only came with a floppy drive so i bought an internal zip and installed that, and then got a usb zip for my pc too. it's not quite as simple as drag&dropping your samples from the pc like you would on a 1000 but it's really no hassle..

Why don't you just ask the general public instead of PM'ing me the exact
same question. That's one of the things that peeps don't take to kindly ya
