Hey everyone. I've recently acquired an MPC2000XL by chance after hunting around for a while. Has most good upgrades in it. The downside? Whoever the previous owner is did an absolutely awful paint job on the case.
It looks to be rattle can based on some of the bubbling around the edges. I figured that I could just hit it with some paint stripper and be good to go.
My question is what should I be aware of? I can sort of faintly make out the button labels on the top case so ideally I would be able to strip it back down to it's original color/configuration without damaging it. I have also ordered a new cover from mpcstuff in the event that fails. Is there anything else I should look out for/do while I have the thing apart on my desk?
