Probably been asked a million times but none of the threads i've visited have been any help. I'm tring to get my 2kxl pads to trigger vsts & drum racks in ableton live 11 but not having much luck.
The gear i'm using is 2kxl>akai EiE interface>ableton
All midi connections between both units are correct as i'm able to sync the xl as master or slave and vice versa with ableton. However when i try to configure the mpc to use the pads to trigger a vst or drum rack it doesn't seem to want to work for me.
Maybe i'm missing something wondering if someone would be so kind as to list the steps i should be following to help trouble shoot this issue.
